Sector Outlook & Strategic Positioning
India's data centre sector is on a steep growth trajectory — from approximately USD 10 billion today to an estimated USD 22 billion by 2030, with installed capacity rising from ~1.7 GW to 9–10 GW. Government initiatives — Digital India, Aatmanirbhar Bharat and the IndiaAI Mission — alongside mandatory data localisation requirements are structurally accelerating this demand. Rising AI adoption, higher rack densities and GPU-intensive workloads are intensifying focus on reliable power sourcing, hybrid cooling and energy efficiency across the sector.
